Virtual Diabetes Program
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Georgia Extension Diabetes Prevention Program was challenged with shifting to a completely virtual format. Trained agents are delivering the program to community members across the state and collaborating with the University System of Georgia (USG) to offer the National Diabetes Prevention Program entirely online to faculty and staff.

Mobile farmers markets are rolling again in metro Atlanta. Throughout the summer, Fulton Fresh and Fresh on DeK will continue serving fresh produce and delivering nutrition education to communities through curbside pickups and digital content.

The program was developed by UGA SNAP-Ed, nutrition education and obesity prevention program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered through UGA Cooperative Extension. CAES News
Food eTalk is an innovative, smartphone-based eLearning nutrition education program tailored to the specific needs of SNAP-eligible adult Georgians. The program was developed by UGA SNAP-Ed, nutrition education and obesity prevention program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered through UGA Cooperative Extension.
