Annual Meeting
About
Each year in early March, the Center for Food Safety hosts an annual meeting near the Atlanta airport for 180 to 200 registrants. The invitation-only one-and-a-half-day meeting provides an opportunity to summarize the latest information on food safety research being conducted by CFS members and scientists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, FDA, USDA and other organizations.
The audience is primarily composed of food safety authorities from the food industry. Their attendance provides valuable insight to CFS members about the current problems and concerns in the industry.
Meeting Highlights
The event spans a day and a half and includes speakers from a variety of backgrounds within food safety, networking opportunities, and presentations from CFS students - the next generation of food safety experts.
